TravellingScholarship
in 1905. After having completed his studies inParis, he settled in London where he became a member of the RoyalSociety of Oil Painters and the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.He was awarded the silver medal at the Salon, Paris in 1924 and thegold in 1932. His works are part the the permanent collection ofthe National Gallery of Victoria, Australia.
