Both Exhibited at the Royal Academy - 1960 and 1961. A letter from
the artist to the purchaser is included. Christopher Catlin was a
self-taught artist, painting mainly in pastel and tempera. He was a
great friend of Orovida Pissarro, who purchased Catlin a house in
Fulham. He was a member of the RBA and showed at the Royal
Academy
