Adolphe Felix Cals French, 1810-1880 Portrait of Fanny Goulliart Signed Cals and dated 1879 (lr) Black and white chalk heightened with pastel on paper 17 x 12 inches Estimate $300-500 Quite toned with traces of mat burn. Paper is slightly buckled.Scattered areas of spotting around the outer edges. Paper is noteven around the edges, particularly the bottom edge. Work isadhered to the mat with two pieces of archival tape along the upperverso edge. 3/4'' crease at the bottom left, outside theimage.
