Lot Description Sir Frank William Brangwyn, R.A., R.W.S. (1867-1956) Figure study signed with initials 'FB' (upper right) pencil, pen and black ink and coloured chalks, on brown paper 11 5/8 x 12½ in. (29.5 x 31.8 cm.) Provenance with B.F. Stevens & Brown (Fine Arts) Ltd., Godalming, Surrey. Exhibited London, Fine Art Society.

232. Sir Frank Brangwyn RA (1867-1956) Unloading Oranges, woodcut, signed in pencil lower right, initialled in the block, lower left, 1920, title inscribed in lower margin, 100 x 135mm. (4 x 5 1/4 in), unframed. A development of Brangwyn's lithograph, Unloading Oranges at London Bridge, from around 1910.

Lot 1230 Sir Frank Brangwyn (1864-1956) watercolour, The Pretorius at Rye, 1887, inscribed verso, 5.75 x 8.5in. Estimate £300-500 Possibly a little faded but still retained a fair strength of colour, some slight undulation of paper and possibly one or two fox marks on the work, in a fairly recent washline mount with attribution and title, slim gilt frame, a pencil sketch verso with hand annotations relating to colours. Provenance: Formerly part of a large collection of Brangwyns work which was sold in these rooms in June 2006.
