REGINALD BIRCH (American 1856 - 1943) Jim: A Tame Crow, St. Nicholas magazine illustration , February 1895 Ink on paper 15 x 15 in. Signed lower right This pen and ink drawing by the famous illustrator of Little Lord Fauntleroy and The Mill On the Floss was done for the St Nicholas magazine story, Jim: A Tame Crow, by Malcolm Douglas. Caption: "He would shout out 'Stop!' to the farmers who went by in their wagons." Estimate: $500 - $600.
