Note: The ballet Apparitions, scenario by Constant Lambert, music by Franz Liszt, choreographed by Frederick Ashton, costumes and d´┐¢cor by Cecil Beaton, was first performed at Sadler's Wells on February 11th 1936. Provenance: Cecil Beaton, a gift from the artist for a Benefit auction in aid of the Panoffs.
