a group of 3 photographs, comprising Skyscraper Construction, Rustic Silo, and Barn with Lantern, each mounted to thin board, signed by the photographer in pencil on the mount, 1930s (3) Provenance: Anonymous gift, 1975 Bartholomew studied at the Clarence White School of Photography and went on to join Underwood and Underwood as an art director, working under Lejaren á Hiller (see Lot 78). He established his own studio in New York in 1936, and produced work for Whitman Candies, General Electric, Du Pont, Eastman Kodak, and Texaco.
