Art Market Trends - Arcadja | ![]() |
With extensive experience acquired over the years and the use of the most advanced IT technologies in the economic and monetary field, Arcadja has set up an innovative instrument which can describe the situation of the art market in “real-time”.
The J30, so called to highlight its strong link with the international exchange market, represents the trend of the “Art” sector on the horizon of the world macro-economy.
The index, developed according to strict mathematical and economic theories, keeps into account not only the exchange volume of artworks at a global level but also the normalized relation between hammer prices and estimates of the 30 leading artists and of the 30 leading auction houses in the world.
A single index summarizes the values characterizing sales, such as prices, estimates and availability of lots on the market, but also the number of auctions in relation to the time period and their geo-localization by market of reference.
All of this by using sources which come exclusively from our data processing centre and are therefore guaranteed and accredited at a global level.
