Signed "Arapoff" l.c. Watercolor and pencil, sight size 12 x 10 in., framed. Condition: Gentle toning, handling creases, not examined out of frame.
Provenance: By descent in the family of the artist.
N.B. Catherene Green Arapoff was the wife of the artist. She was from Massachusetts and a student at Radcliffe, studying abroad at the Sorbonne, when they met. They were married at the Church of the Madeleine in Paris in 1929. This portrait sketch was done in the 1930s.
