Clayton Anderson was born in Vancouver, BC in 1964. He was trainedas a graphic designer at the Alberta College of Art, graduating in1988 with a diploma in Visual Arts. After working in theadvertising art department of Western Living and Vancouver Livingmagazines, he turned to painting full time in 1991. Anderson liveson BC's Sunshine Coast with his wife and daughter, and this work isa beautiful example of the artist's treatment of the soft, diffuselight of his environment.
