Eddie Adams is best known for his Pulitzer prize - winningphotograph of a South Vietnamese officer shooting a Vietcongprisoner during the Vietnam War. The accomplishment establishedAdams as one of the United States' foremost photojournalists,although he was also highly regarded for later work in fashion andadvertising.
